i need help with mIRC

im kinda new to mIRC and i was wondering....how do i pm s0beit and everything??? cause i want a extension to my VIP

Download mIRC
Then get everything setup
Then type /server irc.lcirc.net
Then go up to "Commands"
And select "Join Channel"
Type in "#thisgamesux"

And you'll be connected to mIRC

So I've tried all of that and this what comes up...

what am I doing wrong? This mIRC is getting on my nerves and I'm pretty smart about these things. I've also tried this on chatzilla and same thing is coming up. So is there something wrong with my software i downloaded or something wrong with the server? Please help, thnx.
