Before Combat Arms, I never hacked in any video game. After playing Combat arms with hacks, I saw how much fun it could really be at times. I regularly play Call of Duty 5 on the xbox 360, and if any of you have played it, you know that lag, bad connections, and bullet lag all affect the game majorly. A person with a four bar connection gets a massive advantage over someone with a three. Lately, I've been thinking of getting my own advantage. I've noticed on the Call of Duty 5 zombie leaderboards that people have hacked their scores to the thousands. Getting that high with glitches isn't possible for many reasons. One, it would take hours upon hours to get that many levels done, and two, zombies eventually overwhelm any glitch positions.
I often find myself plugging my iPod into my Xbox to stream music off of it. This also works with a Zune and a computer. With this, I've found myself wondering other things. I don't know how possible this is, but I want to figure out if I can plug a laptop into my xbox 360 via a USB and create a cham hack for Call of Duty 5. Also, a host hosts the game, and everyone connects to the host. If you are the host, I'm wondering if it's possible to give yourself say.. unlimited ammo or health. Anyway, if I recall correctly, Microsoft has released developer tools to make games for the Xbox 360. This could possibly be the basis for the hack. I know this isn't a well known language like C++, but I believe that with the addition of downloading games to your HD (I'm thinking you only need the games .exe on the disc to play), you can find a way to client side cham hack at least. I'm not programmer, but from what I've heard, programming for the Xbox 360 is very user friendly, and easily done.
So, I've come to you guys with knowledge of writing hacks if you think this is legible.
