Cleaning the forums was a test. One that needed done. You sit around and I will say it do nothing all day. We have well over 300-400 VIPs and I work my ass off to provide them with support. Well, in my humble opinion you were the best moderator on the forum and the only one who really seemed to care about the spam (I'm not saying s0b or any of the other administrators didn't care about the spam, maybe s0b didn't but I don't know, I haven't really been here long enough) you did a great job at cleaning the forums, maybe you just went over board a little bit, i'm not saying that's necessary a bad thing, you didn't really delete threads that were important or anything, of course that would of been stupid if you did delete important threads, but you didn't. All of that could have been done in less then 12 hours. Hes lazy, stop trying to build him up because it will only make his fall hurt worse. His choice to move the forums to VB was his decision no one told him to and in doing so he removed a lot of the features we had with IPB... Go figure. Not worth it IMHO.

intelon i've been moderating the VIP section while fighting with the code, when i actually have time i skim through the pub section and moderate it, but as killallah has said, its insanity to try to deal with all at once, i delete a couple hundred posts a day and i lock a good bit of threads, but i cant say i topped 50k in 1 fell swoop.

I think it would be better like instead of deleting topics and such, is to just lock them, that will stop users from reviving old topics that are a couple months or years old.


I think the real reason why there's tons of spam on the forum is there's no real rules posted, maybe in some sections. But not all. Rules in different section wouldn't get rid of people making useless topics, but maybe it'll decrease the spam rate. Not reading the rules = Instant Thread lock, would be a good rule.

you know guys i may only be a noob to this forum, i also may be 13 and know only c++ thanks to my dad and uncle but even i know what killall did was wrong, i just went though and read every post here, yes i suck at spelling and gramer but i care about tgs, yes i may only know killallah as the one who edited my post count but as other said its just a post count, i try to be as nice as i can, i agree with both s0bit and killall, but i dont think the site will go down but i also beleave that the site lost a good mod, but as s0bit said, all it would of taken was a kind privet chat but insade he made this, even i know that is make an ass out of your self, he should of just talk with s0bit and all wound have been good and s0bit i know your busy alot but you could try to make a day plan, and be alittle bit more active, but also you shouldn't have to do everything, that IS why there are mods, there you guys go, thats my opinion, flame me if you want, i'm trying to do my best to stay nutral here.
