From wot ive heard alien ware is notorious for blowing up..When you purchase any computer make sure you have it backed up with plenty of warranties i suggest finding a good computer shop to build you one they usually drop a good labor and repair warranty through them and parts warranties for every single part in your comp not to mention they've worked with every kind of part and or brand factory made computer out there they know which is better then which and can help you build a nice computer..i never go through factory made comps they almost always tend to break down after there warranty is void,and a computer shop will you options on OS's which is nice to SO if your frustrated with Vista they can put XP on for you

Wow. In my opinion, You're a horrible computer owner. My dads laptop is over 13 years old and It works fine. And my computer is bout 5. If it blew it it probably over heated. Which means one thing. MORE FANS. Just buy more fans to cool the inside. Or get a stand that way the bottom wont heat up therefore causing an explosion. Or if you can't afford a new fan for your computer then just buy a normal one and aim it at the computer. (I know this works for Xbox 360 although I am unsure about computers.)

I have had a dell laptop for 6 yrs never once has it f'd up................I have added a bit more since i first got it and added a new vid card to play CA on it but still doesnt seem to play CA yet i can play the new Call of duty (world at war) on it no prob

I got mines for free and it's at least 5 years old. I got it from a friend a little while back. It's an E-Machines that came with XP, upgraded to Vista and added 2 GB of RAM and that was a done deal. You just need to learn a few basic skills to take care of your computer that's all.

Build you own pc..... And install liquid cooling.... I suggest liquid nitrogen as a coolent... lol JK... but just dont be stupid with them and you will do fine with the comps
